Mode
Mode is the most frequently occurring value in a dataset. A distribution may have one mode, multiple modes, or none, and it is the only central-tendency measure applicable to purely categorical data.

Eight customer ratings — 3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 5, 7 — split into four groups by value. Rating 3 and rating 7 each occur once, rating 4 occurs twice, and rating 5 occurs four times, forming the widest segment of the bar. Because it appears more often than any other value, 5 is the mode of this dataset.
